About Us

Traditionally, the Los Angeles County Development Authority has offered an annual Community Meeting and Resource Fair for Los Angeles County residents. With the restrictions imposed by the County as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the LACDA is making information available to you online.

During the virtual meeting, you will:

Valuable Information

Receive valuable information and resources from numerous County Departments and other agencies.

Resident Survey Presentation

View a presentation on the Resident Survey that allows you to help prioritize the services needed in your community.

The Resident Survey helps the County determine how best to allocate resources through the Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023). The Action Plan is the County’s application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Board of Supervisors were provided with your input to determine which activities will be funded through the Action Plan to improve your neighborhoods.

Based on the information LACDA obtained through the Survey, we categorized the needs identified by residents into activities that are eligible under the Community Development Block Grant, the HOME and Emergency Solutions Grant Programs. These three programs are the funding sources included in the Annual Action Plan. The goal is to create a better environment and neighborhoods for Los Angeles Urban County residents based on the needs identified by the Community.

The following agencies are happy to share information on the valuable programs currently available. Feel free to contact any of the partners directly for additional information.
